NIMH batteries are
used when weight and capacity is a problem. These
NiMH Battlepacks are hand built for high current, using #10, or #12 Silicone output wires. They are protected top and bottom with heat resistant foam, and they are wrapped in two layers of shrink wrap. When ordering, please specify what wire size and connector suits your requirements (10, 12 AWG available). We offer Deans, 30, 45 and 75 amp
powerpole connectors. Note: packs are constructed using
copper braid and hand soldered with

Packs are a better choice for long life.
Be aware that new NIMH, high performance cells are much more
fragile than we've been used to.
It doesn't take much to permanently damage them. A few
rules to follow:
* Never let them get to 0 volts, either running or when stored
* Store them fully charged - they self-discharge rapidly
* Charge them at 1/2 amp at least once a month in storage
* Balance them regularly at 1/2 amp when in use
* Do not let them get too hot when running - over 150 degrees is bad

If you require 24V packs, we also suggest the IC packs
at the same cost
NIMH packs can get very hot while
charging. We highly suggest packs with rings.
Through
a continuous testing effort, we offer only the cells that demonstrate the best
uniformity on the market.
